Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick - Love That Red

Their Super Lustrous range is famous for its extremely pigmented lipsticks. They are very, very creamy and glide on smooth with a feather-light feel. I currently have 8 of them in my stash and I adore each and every one of them.

The shade 725 Love That Red in encased in a black plastic tube with a label at the bottom that shows the shade name and a clear plastic top that helps to easily identify the color. So whichever way you stash them, it is easy enough to locate it.

It is a deep red color, a very slightly blue-based red. It has hints of pink in it. Thus, this is THE color for all those who have cool-toned skin. But it is not such a color that it won't look good on warmer tones; in fact I'd state this to be a neutral and can be worn by all. The pink undertones are visible only in the camera flash otherwise it looks like a true red color.

It is highly pigmented and very creamy. It has a "Creme" finish by the way, so it has no shimmer. AT ALL. It applies smoothly and has a glossy effect which makes the lips look hydrated and lovely.

Love That Red by Revlon (The shimmer in the swatch is due to its lustre; it contains no shimmer)

One swipe delivers supreme pigmentation, you'd hardly need to reapply. For a subtle look, just dab the lipstick onto the lips, then spread with fingertip. Apply clear gloss. Lasting power is a typical 3-4 hours w/o eating or drinking. It is easily transferable though, that's a con.

Recommendation: Revlon's Super Lustrous range is beyond doubt a must have. I personally like the Creme finish lipsticks among them.
